excessive sweating causes

Do you often feel uncomfortable during the day because your armpits are dripping wet? Does this affect your work and personal relationships because you avoid social settings out of embarrassment and anxiety? Understanding the excessive sweating causes behind such situations is crucial for finding effective solutions to manage and address this challenging issue.

Excessive sweating can be solved and you don’t have to continue to live with it. Maybe you have tried various things already without success. I wouldn’t be surprised though if the things you had tried were things to cover up the solution and not prevent it completely.

This article will hopefully let you see that although you may very well be able to cover up sweating using antiperspirants, pills or even Botox injections, this doesn’t cure it. To fully cure it you need to solve the cause, which could be 1 or many different things.

Generally when it comes to excess sweat, the individual is overweight. Extra weight causes the body to be overburdened and stressed. A symptom, if you like, of stress is excess sweating. On top of this you can’t be overweight and hydrated. Being overweight results in being dehydrated. Dehydration is another thing that causes one to sweat more. It is your body’s attempt to cool you down, when sufficient water resources aren’t available to help maintain the core temperature. Finally most people who are overweight will eat a number of different junk foods on a daily basis. They may eat high fat foods, which cause a huge stress on the body as fat is hard to digest. They may eat foods with preservatives or salt laden. Salt causes dehydration and thus excess sweating. These types of foods are also full of toxins that your body has to get rid of somehow. When the body is overtaxed with them, sweating is a helpful mechanism.

Environmental Contributors to Sweat

As you can see you could most likely overcome sweating too much but simply losing your excess fat.

Another thing to take into consideration is anxiety. Lots of people with sweat issues have anxiety issues as well. Feeling anxious or living a stressful life promotes and causes you to sweat more. In this day and age we are put into situations of stress that are unnatural. In nature stress was a result of seeing a predator or having to run from one. When we did our bodies would go into fight or flight. Our heart would start racing and all our bodily functions become geared towards movement. Sweating is a part of that. We get this same response when we are stressed because of a huge workload or difficult clients. Our body responds in the same way. Changing jobs or learning how to cope with stress is a great way to lower your response to it and stop sweating as much.

Anxiety is something that usually is reinforced by sweating and a vicious circle occurs. If you are naturally anxious you may just naturally sweat more, but if it becomes ridiculous this could be because you are becoming overly paranoid. You maybe worried that people notice the sweat or are judging you for it. Having these thoughts will only make it worse, so learning to deal with anxiety effectively will help too.

As you can see there are reasons why you could be sweating more. Look at your life, lifestyle and see what could be creating a build up of sweat in you and then go about fixing it.
